The Art

The traditions of the English countryside and the equestrian world provide the design inspiration, which is translated by the designer into a visual composition which reflects these values.
The subtle nuances of the leather colours, either tonally matched or contrasted, with the thread, webbing and tweed colours, is where the design process begins.

Inspiration

The traditions of the English countryside and the equestrian world provide the design inspiration, which is translated by the designer into a visual composition which reflects these values.

The subtle nuances of the leather colours, either tonally matched or contrasted, with the thread, webbing and tweed colours, is where the design process begins.

It is followed by the choice of buckles both in shape and finish which must complement the leather / webbing / tweed colours.

The attention to detail, such as: the edge colouring of the leather, is one of a number of design criteria offered.

Functionality

Every design must be fit for purpose, where durability and practicality are essential elements of the design process.

Values

Whilst cost is an important consideration, no design compromises are ever considered. Quality is and will always be a key component of our products.

Joshua Ellis teamed up with Hardy & Parsons to create three luxury leather belts made using our beautiful Escorial wool fabrics. The collection includes a black leather belt with black houndstooth Escorial fabric., a navy blue leather belt with a black and blue check Escorial fabric and a burgundy leather belt with brown Escorial fabric.

"We are thrilled to be collaborating with Hardy & Parsons and see our Escorial fabric be transformed into these exquisite belts." - Oliver Platts, Managing Director - Joshua Ellis
